I uhh, never seen a reviewer praise the fanbase before quite the same way one might imply you're a pervy pedo for enjoying a game. Honestly I don't even know how they could.

Kat Bailey did that one. A quick search will show that she's a bit into mecha, and suggests that she has a strong dislike for moe' and certain things relating to it. She was biased reviewing it, and still biased after.

Hell, she hates Hatsune Miku from what I can tell.

I mean, writing a non-biased objective review could be tough I'm sure, but it's how reviews should be done, I believe.

I don't see anyone complaining when a biased reviewer gives 8.5+.

There is quite a difference between

"Wow, I thought the first game was rather mediocre, but this was way better, I actually enjoyed this one!"

and

"(looks at cover) Piece of weeaboo shit only for basement-dwelling fat nerds and pedos, don't play it!"

at this point of the "review" i've already said "nothing to do here"(referring to the memes).
cause if someone plays on his voluntry neptunia there's something like... 100% of probability that he know the difference to cartoon and anime,regarding the appareant i'm age i'm ok,with only for rom&ram(if understand good the candidates are not ultra-aged like the cpus)though,uni was sure over 13,nepgear not less than 14 and the other (except nisa and gust) are sure over16(they have works,for example compa is a nurse,so it's at least 17-18 for what i know on the school),but people say,for example(seeing alice from pandora h.) she's underage(lol),you like it,you're a pedo(this "man" is talking to a boy of 14)

now tell me,why this people do these work?

The whole cartoon/anime thing doesn't bug me. Anime ARE Japanese cartoons, afterall, although I know a number of people do argue that anime isn't... HOWEVER, when they are actually refering to it as "a perverted cartoon", it DOES show that they know little to nothing about the medium itself.

That review though... Once again, basing on looks. It's as if they looked at the cover, and said "hmm bright-coloured, huge-eyed, anime characters. ANOTHER one!" -_-

I didn't say anybody was a pedo hibari. I said it's common for dumb bandwagon jumpers (such as some of the reviewers) to automatically catagorize anime/jrpg fans as pedos.

But yeah, I wouldn't really read into anything I say too much. I seem to have this passive superpower of being extra confusing to people whose first language isn't English, and I come across as being very offensive and confrontational to them when it's nowhere near what I intend >=P.

I'll be frank. I can see why, even from a gameplay perspective, this game would get low review scores. However, I'M enjoying it regardless, and I think it's target audience will as well.

Of course, calling the game loli porn can hardly be considered an actual review.

I like mecha and dont care for moe very much, amazingly I dont see that as a reason to lie! It just makes me happy when I see something as awesome as CFW Brave

Read what Ghaleon said, it isn't a matter of the reviewer disliking the game as it's a matter of the reviewer actively trying to be insulting.

I know that, and I did read it, I thought we were past that when I told that I don't see anyone complaining when a reviewer praises a fanbase or a specific genre/sub-genre. If s/he bashes, the fanbase complains, but if it's been praised, everybody's agreeing with the guy. Either way, they're both far from neutral.

I've yet to see anybody praise the fanbase, though, only the game itself. I don't care if anybody bashes the game (I may disagree, but that's a different matter), but here we're talking about somebody insulting the fanbase instead, which is a completely different issue. You have to bash the game, not the players!

I mean consider this: if I called you a pedophile just because you wanted to play a game that had moe girls in it, wouldn't you feel offended? Remember, this isn't some generic insult, it's a pretty serious accusation that can even have legal implications depending on the situation.

no it's my fault,i've reached the characters limit of the ps3,what i wanted to say it's that if the prejudice of the people are real,more of half world would be full of mad,raper and pedophile,when at least is only 1-2...
