Why does it blow your mind that it's popular? It's a Shaft-original anime series with a literal dream team behind it. It was bound for amazing success from the start.

Anyway, the chances of the localization of this one depend entirely on sales of the localized anime and manga. And unfortunately Aniplex is actively trying to sabotage themselves at every turn with their anime pricing. I doubt it'll prove successful enough for anyone to pick up a PSP game. Not in North America. They're all convinced PSP is a dead platform.

I would love for this game to make it over here; but like others have mentioned, the cost of bringing this game over is probably very, very high. While I don't think it's out-right impossible for NIS to bring it over (they did bring a game based on Bleach, after all) the chances are fairly low. Maybe we'd have more luck with Aksys; they've done more games with visual novel elements after all, and they also brought over Fate/Extra. :P

Well personally I didn't like the anime AT ALL the first time through. I had to watch it a second time and then after that blog for about a full day for me to actually scavenge some love for it. Indeed, the story line is good, characters are magnificent, and in all honesty it is probably the most thought out anime I've seen in a long time. Perhaps my wording was wrong there, I apologize. Indeed though Aniplex is definitely destroying the american fanbase and all people interested in it with their marketing "abilities." I've checked the website quite a bit and it still hasn't changed from "Out of Stock" CHRIST! GIVE ME MY COPY!!! Hopefully NISA will just SOMEHOW fly in on a Prinny and just save the day...

Hmm...Aksys would probably have a better chance at doing it because as you said, they have more visual novel experience and seem to do well with PSP releases, like you said Fate/Extra. Though whether or not PMMM is the type of game Aksys wants to deal with, I do not know; I'll try asking around on their forums later...

http://www.aksysgames.com/forums/topic/1680 thread is still relatively small (only 9 posts -_-) if possible, all that are interested in the game getting localized should register there as well so as to add support over there, it may be a little...unfaithful...but hey, this game has gotta be localized one way or another.

Want this game T_T

I really hope someone can somehow pull this off

Strongest contenders are NISA (due to them somehow licensing BRS, and they also license anime in general) and AkSys (due to VN-localization history), but the chances are still low. But I'd love to see it over here, too.

I'm surprised that no one has posted any Madoka PSP videos on YouTube. NND's been blasting them, but somehow they're still hard to find.

This has my priority over iM@S2 being localized. This game is amazing, my god. I'm literally crying right now. Poor Kyouko ;______;, ran right into her death.

Should probably put a Spoiler alert somewhere around there. Not everyone that visits this thread has watched the anime ^^;

Anyone actually playing this game yet though? I've gotten the game and well...playing as Kyuubey isn't really the GREATEST thing I've ever seen...

Funny that you scold them for not putting it in spoilers but you didn't edit in a spoiler tag yourself.

I'm playing it right now. Homura's route. Also, everyone who watched Madoka already knows [that things happen].

(Houk edit for spoilers.)

Can I ask you a question then? the number on the bottom right hand-side (the one that starts at 100 for homura and 150 for Mami) is that the Karma Value or Emotional Value? I can't tell...

Spoiler:
Thank god for the chance to save them though, if I had to play through the whole Madoka anime AGAIN I'd be spitting chunks of my own spleen when Mami's death came around...

I think of it more like a soulgem-ish kind of thing. Be careful, when it's critical, your Pueller Mega can die.
