Wow, I went and checked the Japanese broadcast to be sure... and you are correct. What a shame.

I did enjoy some of that "tying up your imouto scene", only for Araragi to check for a scar and cope a feel on her breasts, lol. Oh and let's not forget... the donuts. Just watching them eat those was enough to make me go get some donuts for myself. Curse you, Shinobu. *Eats donuts with coffee*

Sigh, now the rest of the novels need anime adaptations, or localizations. They should keep localizing Zaregoto, actually.

From what I've heard, Shaft actually plans to animated every novel, though I haven't asked the peoples I've seen stating it for a source. The series itself said "To Be Continued" at the end of this episode.

We still got Kizumonogatari as well but that's not a sequel, it's a prequel and just a movie.

I don't think it was Shaft saying they were going to, I think it was the author saying he wanted to. And of course Shaft is raking in the big bucks on the series, so they probably won't hesitate to.
