~ Night 0 Part Two ~
"...oh, that's it? That's no big deal." Hazel replied, sounding relatively calm. "Yeah, you mean you haven't? I could of sworn you would of done something like that by now." she stated with mild surprise. Her surprise was so mild that is was practically non-existent.
"How about a computer program full of a bunch of corrupted fictional characters-- which might be the cause of this whole situation in the first place?" Mizuko questioned sheepishly. The 'freeze' ended, and Mizuko fell forward and onto the ground, pulling Hazel down with her.
"Oh boy! Is this going where I think it's going?" Hazel asked. "...and by that, I mean some bullshit excuse to play Mafia, along with me not getting back to sleep?"
Mizuko laughed sheepishly, "Yeah, that's where it's going," she stood up and dusted herself off. Offering her hand to Hazel, "I was going to watch over them from the comfort of my own apartment. I mean, I still can, since it's severed from reality now, but... ugh." she was visibly disgusted by this sudden turn of events.
Hazel took her hand. "...how annoying. This is why you get someone who's actually good at hacking to do stuff like this. You know, like Mioko, or someone." she said, a bit annoyed herself. "Oh well, at least it should keep us entertained." she added, a bit optimistically.
"Y-yeah, I should have gotten professional help," Mizuko admitted, sounding quite embarrassed, "Anyway.. we probably shouldn't keep them waiting for too long, right?" she questioned, "We'll probably have to defend ourselves at one point or another-- Hmm, maybe I will give Mioko a call. That device brought you here, so maybe I could hook it up to my phone and drag her here to fix this mess..?" she began brainstorming.
"Go for it!" Hazel agreed. "...heeeey! If she's here, maybe I can bother her for a few hours~" she said in a sing song voice, sounding rather excited.
"Alright, let's get going then!" Mizuko said, flinging open the door.
They both walked out into an expansive room composed of multi-colored blocks. Which lit up, and dimmed down in some sort of a pattern. "Trippy...." Mizuko said looking around the area, "well, there they are-- I kind of went overboard," she admitted.
"...no kidding. Oh well, this might be fun to watch." Hazel said. "Too bad you didn't plan on me showing up, I would of totally brought my video camera!"
Mizuko laughed, "My entire apartment is right behind us, I am sure you could find one in the computer room." she stated.
"Oh, well then! A comfy couch to take a nap on, a video camera, and my favorite victim. Those are all going to be in one place~ Suddenly, I'm not hating this so much." Hazel exclaimed with a huge grin on her face.
"Happy to know you don't want to kill me over this," Mizuko let out a sigh of relief, "Anyway, feel free to take a nap, I'll address them and distribute their roles. Make sure not to lock the door, there is no telling what kind of response I'll get..." she laughed nervously.
"Will do. Let me know if there's anyone to kill though!" Hazel said cheerfully, before making a mad dash indoors, and hopping on the couch.
Turning to the crowd, Mizuko let out a sigh, "Alright, so change of plans, I messed up-- and we are having technical difficulties-- as if my presence here didn't make that obvious enough."
"Anyway, through all my research into the phenomena, I found out there are some of you that have become corrupted. Basically, you're original coding or design has been messed with by the sudden influx of aushen. So, how about a game?" she questioned.
A collective sigh was heard from the crowd, "Could my luck be any worse!?" someone exclaimed, "Oh calm the heck down!" someone yelled, an explosion was heard soon after.
This is going to be oodles of fun..., Mizuko sighed, "Alright, you'll be playing Mafia to weed out the 'corrupted'. I assume you all knew this, since my computer distributed the roles on it's own..." she paused, "Sometimes it's too efficient." she thought aloud.
"So, we're starting with Night 0! Try and get along with each other, maybe find out something about your fellow players. I know you've been waiting in this computer for a week but maybe you c---" Mizuko stopped mid-sentence and began backing away.
The crowd was approaching her slowly, picking up their pace, "So... I'll just go into my apartment and leave you all to do-- whatever it is you do here." Mizuko laughed nervously, turned around and began running away.
She heard a loud rumble from behind her, "Crap! I knew they wouldn't take lightly to that!" she exclaimed fearfully. She dashed indoors, and slammed the door shut, locking both locks, and dead bolting it.
"...aw. They really do love you. I take it they tried to all give you a group hug at once?" Hazel asked, staring at the door from the couch.
"Sh-shut up, Hazel!" Mizuko said trying to catch her breath. She sat down in a chair, and let out a sigh of relief, "Call Mioko, I lost her number." She stated, tossing her phone in Hazel's direction.
"...let's just hope she isn't absorbed in her work... or some anime." Hazel sighed as she dialed the number.
"If that's the case, then I'll modify the phone and zap her ass over once this phase has ended." Mizuko stated plainly, lounging back in her recliner.
Night 0 has begun, this phase will last a full 24 hours.
This phase will end at the same time as all others, 9pm CST.
No PMing, and no night actions.
Just talk amongst yourselves.
