Sophie corrected herself. She didn't think that Ferrum would share the Collar Controller with anyone, but it was best to be polite with her to possibly avoid punishment later.
"Miss Ferrum. I don't think that your uncle would want you wandering around outside, eh?"
Sophie was sure that she had her expression mastered... except for her eyes. Her eyes held a level of disgust and hatred as she looked at this Ferrum, but that hatred increased tenfold for the moment that she said 'uncle'. He was the one who would hurt her whenever she stepped out of line. It was torture and threat of death that kept her firmly leashed to his side. She hadn't even had a chance to look for a way to escape back to the resistance.
Annalisa quickly turned around, shocked to be so quickly discovered. She immediately calmed down after seeing who was talking to her. It was Sophie, the rebel that was captured and turned into a slave by Bartholomew. Shooting a devious grin at her, Annalisa started speaking.
"Oh, it is you. It would be best if you were to pretend you never saw me here. And please, refrain from calling me that in public. It should be pretty easy to come to the conclusion that I am not on behalf of the Ferrum family right now. Also, there is no need for that concentrated level of hate in your eyes. Contrary to popular belief, I do not support the Ferrum Dysnasty, even if I am part of it, sadly."
She looked around, to see if she was drawing any attention whatsoever. Taking a minute to collect her thoughts, Annalisa got closer to the former rebel, saying her next line very quietly.
"I plan on joining the rebels. Sadly, I do not know the proper directions to get to their base. I suspect you do. It would brighten my day if you told me the coordinates. In fact, you are welcome to accompany me, if you wish."
