Light Fades to Dark
Following the previous day's unexpected outcome, the players endured a night of endless speculation and discussion.
"So, Mioko, how's that terrain generator coming along?" Mizuko questioned with a yawn.
"Just a few more lines and it should be done." Mioko replied, as her fingers moved at blindingly fast speeds, typing on the keyboard.
"Alright, just type in some random values once your done, surprise me with what it can do!" Mizuko replied with a smile.
"Haha, that's the plan... infact, it'd probably be a good idea to check outside the door... riiiight about..." Mioko's typing slowed.
She hit the enter key, "Now!"
There was a loud rumble, the ground shook a small bit, and the apartment felt as if it had been raised up by at least one hundred feet.
Mizuko nodded, and headed for the front door, she opened it and large smile crept across her face, "Well! That's definitely a nice change!" she stated happily, "Hey Mioko, come over here." she instructed.
"Huh? Oh, okay!" Mioko did as she was told, with a smile on her face. "What'd you need?"
"You won't believe this," Mizuko replied, look down upon the city that had just formed around them.
Hazel propped herself up, and got off the couch. Then suddenly came up behind both of the girls, and rest her arm on both of their shoulders. "Hey, whatchu lookin' at?" she asked. "Oho! Now THAT is a bit of nostalgia! I bet you're going to have all sorts of fun with this area, aren't you, Mizu?"
They were now in the middle of a medieval themed city, located in the bottom of a valley surrounded by waterfalls and awe-inspiring rock formations. Her apartment was now situated atop a small tower located in the center of town.
The street-lights looked to be powered by an electric power of some sort. Despite outward appearances, the area had a semi-futuristic feel to it. The town center was directly below the apartment. With a large castle looming over everything off in the distance.
Her eyes widened, Mizuko giggled in disbelief, "This-- just got oh-so much better!" she stated. As she made her way out the door, an all too familiar bracelet appeared on her left wrist, "Yeah, it just became amazing ~" she was absolutely ecstatic.
Backing up a bit-- Mizuko got a running start, and flipped over the banister, landing in the town square below. She took a glance at the group surrounding her, smirked and snapped her fingers.
Causing a lightning storm to form above them, "Almost-good morning to everyone! I'm sure it's been an enjoyable night of endless discussion, but all things must come to an end," she shrugged.
"Anyway, before we get started, I noticed there are two missing from your group-- let's say we go looking for them?" Mizuko suggested, "I'm sure they haven't gone too far from here--" she stopped abruptly, after hearing a loud boy-ish scream coming from the adjacent alleyway.
"That.. didn't sound good," she stated, making a mad dash towards the alleyway. The group followed after.
A black figure wearing a cape appeared before her, as a large blaze engulfed a blue-eyed teenager, with spikey brown hair. His key shaped weapon lay before his burnt body, the figure turned as they heard the sound of footsteps behind them, and made their escape.
Mizuko turned the corner just in time to see the figure disappearing, and the boy burning to death. "Two fire based deaths within two phases? Yeesh, go figure." she sighed, "Eh, not even a hero of Light can withstand the intensity of a fire.." she picked up his weapon, and held it behind her back.
The players approached, "Looks like Sora's dumb luck finally ran out," she explained, "However, this is good for town, as he had been corrupted..." she shrugged, "Ya know? I always wanted one of these," she stated as she twirled the keyblade in her hand.
Hazel flew in from over head, and landed next to Mizuko, "I'm surprised you're not saying something cheesy, like 'That's the power of the Keyblade!', or something." she teased.
Shrugging off Hazel's comment, she continued, "Anyway he was Sora (Key of Destiny)(Locksmith) , as one might imagine-- his demise has likely crippled mafia in one way or another." Mizuko explained.
Sora's body vanished in a flash of light, as with the other two who had died previously.
Mizuko looked at the group, "Hmm, well, seems this is all that happened overnight.. he must have been trying to escape for hours, to have been cornered here." she sighed and snapped her fingers, they all vanished and appeared back at the town-square.
"Anyway, that's all for now. Go vote and do-- whatever it is you guys do." Mizuko stated, pointing her newly acquired Keyblade at them.
"No seriously, if you don't say 'That's the power of the Keyblade' sometime, I want my money back!" Hazel declared.
"But... you didn't pay-- if anything, you should pay me back for all the food, and lodging that I've supplied," Mizuko retorted.
"Screw that! You owe me, even if it's just this one thing!" Hazel replied back.
"Fine, fine, you got me there-- I'll say it...later." Mizuko conceded.
JerichoDeath- Sora (Key of Destiny)(Locksmith) was roasted by the flames of a Mysterious Figure, Night One.
