Wagaya no Oinari-Sama specials?

Released on the Japanese DVDs were 12 little shorts on the series. Since I have to keep remembering that you guys have the rights to it, and hopefully will still be publishing the series when Persona and Toradora get done, I was hoping that maybe these 12 shorts will be DVD extras? My biggest pet peeve is when english releases take out these original specials It was sad on Code Geass' releases to see picture dramas on the first season, but nowhere to be seen on the second season... Here's hoping for the Wagaya specials!

Time to bump this topic for a question since I did not get an answer last time

I saw Wagaya (Our Home's Fox Deity) show up on the Rightstuf site for preorder, with only showing "TV commercials" as extras... Are the picture dramas not included?? This will make me very sad if they aren't... Here's hoping for extras on vol 2 if not....

Count me in on requesting that the Japanese DVD short animation extras be included in the U.S. release. I really think those types of video bonuses are important in a DVD release.

Sooo I was just reading if Pandora Hearts have any extras, and it looks like IT even has some specials on it No love for Wagaya? I'm pretty upset here... I'm REALLY hoping vol 2 will have ALL 12 picture dramas on it. Even Pandora Hearts has some specials on vol 1! However, it DOES look like Persona and Toradora are listed with having specials on vol 2...

Well it's going to be on 2 volumes right? Well maybe the specials will be available in volume 2. Like the extras for volume 1 is just Clean opening and closing with the TV advertisements, while volume 2 might be like the specials you're talking about. It just all depends if NISA was able to get them or not in their license.

Are specials features featured on the DVDs of the show aquired actually a seperate license? I've always assumed that for any series, that was a part of it since it's not like it was ever a seperate OVA for sale of it or anything.

Well I guess it depends. Like i'm sure you've seen many releases where like one version will have all of these extras, but then gets a slimmed out version with only just episodes but on fewer discs. Like a lot of ADV Films thinpacks have on many occasions go the route of having like maybe just ADV trailers as the only extra so put on fewer discs, but if you buy the singles, you can get extras that are not just a bunch of trailers but have less episodes per disc. Plus have been times where the Japanese version would have extras but not included in the American version ever. So just depends on what NISA obtained in the license and how they're releasing it. Just have to wait till volume 2 is announced to know the answer for sure unless someone at NISA wants to spoil the info on what's included in volume 2.
