Hands down, nothing has ever come close to the level of enjoyment FFT has brought me. Outside of console gaming, my 2nd goes to RO, with VC as a close 3rd.

It's great game, but there have been plenty of good FF games after it IMO.
But there hasn't been one in the same vein since.
