Critics aren't always right, at least not for personal preference.

I mean, Hyperdimension Neptunia only got a 45 and mk2 has only gotten a 56 and it has rather a lot of fans, so it can't be all bad.

No they were also right about those two games but I know what you mean. Operation Darkness was a awesome game and critics tore it up.

However in this case this game was very shallow and disappointing and the AI was inexcusable.

I'm addicted to this game, I been playing it all night pretty much I started it after I got Downpour's platinum which was around 1am or so it's now 7am...

It became the I'll just play for a few more minutes which turned into just another hour which turned into one more mission, which became oh shit the sun is coming up and my legs are numb.

By how much this game is begin slammed I was thinking it was going to be another Duke Nukeum: Forever, I haven't played online at all yet and the only complaints I have is the X button has too many uses which can get annoying and not having any squad commands, the AI needs some help they just want to melee and run off on their own to kill everything which gets me to yell at them just like I would when teamed up with random fucktards while playing something online.

Hyperdimension Neptunia had its problems but I certainly don't think it warranted some of the awfully low scores it got. Although I think the biggest problem was that it's a game that doesn't have a very wide appeal, and the lack of subjectivity regarding that I think was its downfall.

I just think a lot people have too high or the wrong kind of expectations for certain games, and when it doesn't meet those expectations they write the game off before even giving it a chance. I'm content with the game yea there's some issues with it, which will hopefully be fixed or tweaked with patches.

The game has it's problems, but it's really not as bad as people make it out to be and you get to kill Leon so that's a big plus. A lot of people that like the game are saying the mp is where it's at, but I've been enjoying playing solo.

I have to do everything on my own since the AI is wonky but I'd be doing the same thing playing online with a bunch of randoms, so it's like I'm already playing the MP without having to put up with hearing shitty music or kids bitching and moaning about getting killed.

I played this game at a friend's house and I didn't really like it. I hope it sells well, though...
