CFW Arfoire...

I'm sorry, I have literally no idea what to do right now other than level grind, which would take too long. I'd rather start on a different game than waste time like that.

When the battle first begins, CFW Arfoire kills every member of my party except for Nepgear. Everyone's around level 54. After that, even if I use the most powerful items I have, it's too much struggle to even survive and I there is no time to even think about actually attacking. Of course, soon enough, CFW Arfoire kills everyone and I lose the battle. The game has been pretty darn easy up to this point, and then this crap comes up. What am I supposed to do? Am I missing something here? This is ridiculous.

Only thing I'd say is doing the free DLC dungeon to speed level, but the monsters in their are no pushovers.

Of course a good tactic is to place your units where she can't hit more than one of them.

Another good thing is placing specific people in the backrow can help against her. Especially any that null all status ailments because I think her big attack Destroy Guide causes abnormal status to whoever it hits

Oh and if you want, you can put IF in your front row since she has the highest evade stat of all the characters.

I would do move my units around her, except the very first thing that happens is her attack. I have no opportunity to move anyone before that.

I had similar problems with Judge. To quote Yahtzee, "The difficulty curve wavers up and down like the knickers of an indecisive whore ..."

Eventually, I resorted to corpse hopping. With enough resurrection items, I caught up.

Also don't go straight to fight her. Fight the surrounding monsters to get that 100 sp head start in the battle instead of building it up in the fight.

Hmmm, I'd say you need to level a bit reading your description unless your just glazing over stuff. When i fought her the basic set up i got was we got the first 4 moves (using 1. Ge-Ge 2. IF 3. Nisa and 4. Uni) I just moved them up semi spaced out from one another. Then had CFW move in (i dont remember if she could attack me or not at this point or not but if so she couldnt kill more than one character.) then just got around her in a big square with one person at each point and beat her senseless and healed and rezzed as necessary. :3

The best guide i can give you to tell you if your strong enough for that point is, if your insta killing all the non-super enemies (i.e not dolphins, fenrir, dragons) that are in the most recent zone then your prolly high enough haha, or at least that was my rule of thumb.

use there partner attacks. it Takes up like 100 SP but it does a TON of damage. I used Neptune and Nepgears partner attack

Though it's incredibly cheap, just power level with the free DLC dungeon and take her out in one shot with Neptune x Nepgear coupling skill + Negears break damage limit partner ability.

Its not as ridiculous as you state it is, this fight just simply needs more strategy than most other fights in the game especially at lvl 50 which is when I defeated Arfoire. Unless you're saying that Arfoire has the first turn and attacks your whole party before you can do anything but IIRC Arfoire shouldn't be able to attack you on her first turn as long as you stay put.

Anyway how I defeated her was I gave Nepgear as much HP as possible made sure I had 100 SP with everyone, I then buffed her status up particulary VIT and AVD and got her to tank all the damage by putting her right next to arfoire, in order to prevent my other teammates from getting hit by her ulti attack I kept them to the side of Arfoire but not too close to her, basically as long as Arfoire is only facing towards nepgear and no one is behind her then its fine.
As the battle goes on I used my teammates to support nepgear without getting into range and attacked Arfoire if nepgear didn't require support. With Nepgear herself I just built up her SP until I was able to use Celestial Severance and repeated this process until I won.

Or if you can't be bothered to fight her this way just use neptune with nepgear as support and then use their couple skill and bam you win.

That is what happened, actually.

Anywho, I did manage to defeat her. I figured out that she always attacks whoever has the most HP, so after she slaughtered almost everyone in my team and I revived them, I always made sure Nepgear had the least amount of HP so she could keep attacking. Nepgear has the Demon Sword thing, which makes her way more powerful than anyone else on my team, and I defeated Arfoire easily that way. Celestial Severance made almost half of her HP go down. I wish I realized this earlier.

I couldn't use Neptune because she was...well...

Extremely overpowered. I've heard you can take out 3/4 or all of it of Dephinus or w/e's HP in one shot at Lv 99 with damage breaking gear.

It would be interesting to know what you have to do know so it get's that powerful. I remember when I fought her with my lv 99 team, I had to use that attack 4 or 5 times to completely deplete her HP bar.
