Disgaea 4 Japanese quotes

Postby Ar-cen-ciel » Wed Mar 21, 2012 10:30 am

it got me ticking, but Val had this one quote saying "kore ga kanzen naru shihaida" whenever he uses Tyrant Flughunde (when you select Japanese voices in the game). Anyone willing to translate this one?

I don't know Japanese, so this is just a best guess, but I think it's pretty close to "Everything's under control" or "I've got it all under control," literally "This will completely result in control" or something.

"This is total domination!" is what it means.
And as a side-note, that line is a perfect example of why I freaking love Val's Japanese voice. So badass...

Indeed, If I recall, I heard the same thing in English version (though I can't hear it clearly due to the sound effect)

That aside, I heard the word like "Kani miso" (by Flonne) and "kuraina" (by Gig and Raspberyl)

If I recall he says "Lord of evil, follow my order and present your vile soul!".

He said that at the start of Tyrant Flughunde skill (yeah, thanks for somebody pointing out the proper German) the "this is total domination" part is quoted right after the dragon bat roared. There's something right before that which I can't hear quite clearly.

The only part that makes it hard for me is when he says lord of evil (which I am not sure if he actualy said but that's what I think I here).

I always thought it sounded more like "Carnal demon"... Though in Japanese, I'm hearing "tengoku ni torawareshi majin yo", which is more like "Demon imprisoned in Heaven"... though I don't see how that makes sense so I'm assuming I'm mishearing something there.

No because it sounds more like Carnal Demon than Lord of Evil I have just never heard the word carnal until now.

Carnel Demon, Lord of Evil...? To be honest, I thought I heard something like "Honored demon" there...

That aside, Val also had "Kore ga iwasho no chikara", which means "This is the power of sardines". The thing is, I usually heard it whenever he wields Onyx Blade (the sword Gig transforms into during Magichange)...

Val aside, the only know character who seems to likes sardines is Asagi NT (short for Neo Technologia/New Technology, a.k.a. HD Asagi). Nisa-tan seems to have no likes or dislike to sardines. About Gig, well... he likes hotpots... (wait, what in the world is the hotpot he's talking about?)
