Hello guys this is my first post here on NIS America so this is also a small introduction.

My name is Daniel and I am from the midwest here in the United States and I am wondering if you guys/girls have heard of Weiß Schwarz.

Weiß Schwarz is a Trading Card Game created by Bushiroad. It takes animes and transforms them into a collectable playable card game. It has been out for some time but I recently caught wind of it and am excited to ask if anyone here plays.

I currently play a Guilty Crown Trial deck!

I think I'd be against advertising this series here except for the small yet relevant detail that there's a Disgaea set as part of it and I think NIS-J gets royalties somehow. XD So since more people playing the game may ultimately be financially good for NISA's parent company...


I don't play it myself, but I did enjoy a long discussion about it at the convention the other day. o wo I understand that they're providing english translations you can print out and put into card sleeves while waiting for actual printed versions in english.

I think there's a Disgaea 4 expansion as well in Japan. I've heard of the game, but haven't found an occasion to try it out yet, I sink too much money into my other hobbies (including competitive Magic: The Gathering) to afford yet another collectible card game >_> Spent a good $250+ just this weekend to go to a SCG Open and made out with approximately nothing, lol.

I've been tempted to start collecting these cards-- probably wouldn't play, I would just have them because of the series featured in the game ~

Haha i can definitely understand! I strayed away from other card games like Magic, Yugioh to only then find myself sucked back into Weiss TT^TT.

I also have a buddy who has the Disgaea trial deck in english so thats quite fun.

I've heard of it and I have played it. Weiss Shwarz is a trading card game based on animes(ex: Fate/Zero, Guilty Crown, etc.) Bushiroad also made an anime called Cardfight!! Vanguard and that is now a trading card game. Cardfight!! Vanguard realeased recently in the U.S. about a month ago. I also play that and many other card games.
Cardfight!! Vanguard is also now on the website that you mentioned.
