How can the people who give out copyrights be so stupid. I remembered they laughed in paris hilton's face when she tried to copyright the term "that's hot". How is this any different? How can someone copyright such a common word? I can see him being like well no one can come out with a game just called "edge", but no one is gonna be like oh cross edge is that a sequel to edge? No one is stealing anything by using the word edge in their game title.

If you want to read into the patent troll more deeply check out ChaosEdge. Pretty humorous, if not for the fact that this troll still is running around causing problems. EA has stepped in with their lawyers so hopefully they'll be able to kill his "trademark".
