Is amazing how much popular the series has gotten from these past episodes. The sales for Lovecrafts novels also skyrocketed after episode one if anyone saw that.

Anyways, I attempted to watch those shorts (since Commie subbed and released an entire batch). I can see why it was rated so badly.

The first series of shorts was pretty bad. The second was amazing.

The character design and the way the animated it. People can be very picky.

I watched all 8 episodes plus Ep 0 but I can say Ep1 of the new anime was more fun than all of them combined.

Original Flash Anime: Eh. It DID get me hooked on the series as a whole ('course, I like Lovecraftian stuff, whether funny or serious), but I wanted more.

Second Flash Anime: I wanted LOTS more. ^^

Current Anime: Oh, yes.

Neither one was all that good imo. I forget which was which, but the one with 5min episodes had its moments. The one with really short (like 2 min or less) was just bad. If I'd watched them first I probably would've ignored the full anime.

But the anime is amazing, so all is well.

And people say moe-fying mythological/folklore characters is a bad thing.

Both of the flash anime series made me want a full-blown anime even more >_>

Lulz at the position they were in when his mother came in.

The fork is the bloodline. Lol.

Hasuta voiced by KugiRie... a lot different and better than I expected.

Another fun episode.

Nyaruko and Kuuko called him "Hasta-kun" and thus Hasuta-kun. I believe it's just the the nickname the two use for him.

Kuuko's my favorite ~

Episode 4 was another great episode ~

Spoiler:
To be honest, I didn't even guess a boy his first and second appearance. I had just assumed KugiRie was just trying to sound more masculine or non/less tsun.

Then the two start calling him -kun and I'm like "Oh shit, he's probably a trap." then Mahiro just goes and asks right after I thought that. Lol.
