Was this game beta tested?

Postby SiftRock » Wed May 02, 2012 9:30 am

Ever since I got Axel in my party the audio is horribly fucked. Characters only say the first few lettes in attack phrases. "Now I-" and cut off, the level up sound effect only plays the first note of it, monster sounds are cutting out horribly, and it's honestly really starting to bother me, what the actual hell NISA

Example
Before:
Rutile: I'll do my best!
After:
Rutile: I-p

Before:
Rutile: You're already dead? Meow.
After:
Rutile: Yo-

You should record a video of that, it'd be more helpful for both us and NIS America.

Alright, so, how does one record from a PSvita?

It's annoying to me because cutscenes are fine, it's just in battle the sounds all broken and garbled.

You'll need a camera for that. It doesn't matter the quality of the recording, as long as we can listen those cut voices and what going on with the game while that happens.

I had this problem too, though it fixed itself when I reset my Vita console.

Did you try changing the language during battle to see if it fixed it or something?

Restarting the Vita fixed it? How is that absurd? Seems like an easy fix to me.

Seems like the simplest thing you could do to fix a problem like this. Complaining, yet you got lucky that is was this easy.

Did you want to have to send your cartridge in, or buy a new a Vita? LOL

No need to pick fights with people... You're thinking worst case scenario, but Sift is right that these kinds of problems should have been identified during QA and never shipped. Endurance tests are pretty standard.

If NIS/NISA can identify the error, they can patch it easily.

It's a easy fix yes, but having to shut down a entire system to get it to work properly is crazy dumb, imagine playing a really fun game on your ps3 or console of choice, it bugs out lags up, glitches all over and becomes a mess to the point you have to restart for fear of something going wrong. It's not very nice to say "Well the fix is easy so you get a free pass"

It makes more sense to inform the company or post to make the problem known. Which I did.
