Randomly.
It's in the same place where the evil symbol expander is.

ELABORATE!

I've only ever gone in the Chara World once and didn't do anything significant. (On a random captured unit just to see what it looked like).

Also, all the videos I've seen only show up to Super Crosslord. But I've heard there's a ninth sword skill called "Wings of Fire", can anybody confirm or deny this?

Clear all the Geo-blocks on floor 10 to open another Mystery Gate. There's about a 10% chance that you get the Old Combat Master prinny, who teaches the character you dove into one of 8 weapon skills; there are 2 Old Combat Master prinnies, one for skill #7, one for skill #8. If you get him at all, the skills you can buy are randomly chosen between 7 and 8.

What about the ninth Sword Skill, "Wings of Fire", that I've heard about?

I haven't played Disgaea 4 since October of last year, and it didn't exist back then, so no idea.

BTW, I wrote a pretty comprehensive Chara World guide on GameFAQs:

You seem to know an awful lot for someone who seemed to only play the game for a month.

Apparently I'm the first person on PS3Trophies.com to get that trophy? I don't know which trophy will make my Disgaea-4-godliness stand out more, but you're free to worship ;)

I was unemployed when Disgaea 4 came out, so I pretty much marathoned my way through LoC and post-game and started grinding to get a capped pirate team. I got really bored with the game while making my 4th perfect L40 and stopped playing after people started "trading" 300% generics (I hadn't even gotten a single 300% character yet, but people started outranking me by the dozens even though I was legitimately top 3 for a while), but kept up on GameFAQs with formulas and such.

Ah.

EDIT- Okay, I think I've figured it out. The 9th Tier Weapons Skills are included with the Necromancer and Medic Class DLC. They can learn them from the Evility Shop, in turn you can transfer them onto other characters via the chara world.

Fascinating Stuff.

Right now I am trying to get the Trapezohedrons and I wanted to know that if I delete the patch data, dupe the item and then reinstall will my characters lose all their levels or remain the same as when I deleted the patch data?

I'm pretty sure saves made with a newer version are incompatible with an older one, so it wouldn't even work at all if you've used that game since installing the patch.

Damn. Well is there anyway to dupe. I know about the Puppy Paw Stick but seriously that is so difficult not only to get but I heard you only have a 15% chance and how there are barely any Heart Conservatives and I will not have the patience to do that.

Since Zeke was asking for a Chara World explanation, I figured I'd post a link here to the guide I wrote for the GameFAQs boards:

I've been reading about the whole Innocents boosting faqs. I'm not sure if I fully understand it yet but let me put a scenario and can you guys correct me where I'm wrong and given me suggestions?

1. Move your subdued innocents to an legendary item that has unsubdued innocents (w enforcers) of the same type and merge them which will result in half of originally subdued innocents + your unsudued.

eg. lvl 160 subdued Manager + lvl 10 unsudued Manager = lvl 90 unsubdued manager?

2. Travel through the item to floor 96 taking only the Innocents Boost paths. After 96, subdue your innocent Mr.Gency out of the item.

Your Innocent level would 90 x 3 = 270? Did I get it right?

Now I was wondering if I could tweak the formula bit by using a common item instead (I'm only on Episode 2 so my characters aren't that strong yet to survive a Legendary item to floor 96) and subdue my lvl 90 unsubdued manager (from subdued Manager + lvl 10 unsudued Manager) how much would it increase my innocents by? Would I end up with more innocents or less, or no change at all?

Thanks
