...people are selling platinum trophies now?

I was browsing around on eBay, when I came across what is apparently a "platinum trophy service". I've heard of kids on 360 sending their info to someone to get them online trophies while offline with hacks, etc. but this is the first I've heard of it on PS3. Using hacks too, I'm guessing.

For laughs, here's the info (the particular game being Cross Edge):

**Save yourself Time and money** (This is not the actual game itself, you are buying trophies for the game)
- Cross Edge 100% Trophies
- Does not matter if you do not own the game.
- Does not matter if you have some of the trophies already.
- Once I have received payment via paypal, I will need you to add your PSN details into the note and/or message me them here so i can get the trophies to your account. PSN details are your email address and your password that you use to sign into your PSN account.
- Trophies will be earned apon receiving payment, once you have paid please send me a message with your PSN log in details so i can get them.
- I WILL NOT GO INTO THE STORE AND DOWNLOAD ANY OF YOUR STUFF.

I guess what surprises me the most is that people actually BOUGHT from this person 0_o Does it help their egos to pay to get platinums or something? I don't understand... Either way, I found it funny :p

Theoretically speaking, it'd just require said person to log into your account and play the game, you then sync your account to the trophies, and bam, you have your plat

First of all, people have been doing this for quite awhile now. Second I think someone already made a post for this, even linking to an article about it. If not the first then the second for sure for sure.

I also heard some trophy hacking has been going on. That's how you see people with 0 second Platinum trophies. The person selling Plats is probably a hacker.

I've never seen a topic on it before (nor would I know what they titled it as) but I really didn't post it for news, but for laughs. It's the first time on eBay I've actually seen the service, and thought the description was classic.
