Fairy Tail

Postby Knightstab » Thu May 17, 2012 4:47 am

Hey :) I'm a huge fan of Fairy Tail but sadly all its games are in Japanese!!! Do you think NISA could dub it :?: :?:

"To give more information, Fairy Tail is a guild of wizards, who each specialize in a particular type of magic. The manga and anime are centered around a particular team of 4 or 5 wizards within the Fairy Tail guild as they go on adventures to fulfill job requests the guild receives. There probably another two dozen secondary characters within the guild that are also featured in certain missions and support the story's main group. The group typically encounters low non-magic grunts/thieves/etc, giant monsters, dragons, and wizards from rivaling guilds and evil guilds as well. Instead of Monster Hunter, I'd say it's more like Naruto, but with wizards instead of ninjas." - credit goes to Boero :D

If you actually want us to look into it, you'll have to give us more info. What's the game about? What platforms? How old/new is it? What's the appeal? Links to videos/screenshots? Give us a reason to get invested in it.

Theres 3 games for the PSP: Fairy Tail: Portable Guild, Fairy Tail: Portable Guild 2, and Fairy Tail: Zeref Awakens. The latest one came out just this year!

Heres a link to the first games wiki: http://fairytail.wikia.com/wiki/Fairy_T ... able_Guild

I'm not sure that NISA is willing to put out any PSP games they haven't already announced. Is there reason to believe that any of these would sell well enough to make it worthwhile?

If it helps, we do have the Anime series in Blu-ray/DVD combo packs from Funimation which could help sell this even though Funimation is in Texas while NISA isn't.

Might be better to get in contact with Funimation as well, since I think they might own the rights to Fairy Tail in all forms, doesn't help that they are ONLY PSP games

Only PSP games? I guess you're forgetting that it's also on Nintendo DS(but I guess NISA never really showed much interest in the DS games except for just a very few titles).

I've really gotten into Fairy Tail recently as well. I started reading the manga a few months back and have since watched the Funimation dubbed first 48 episodes. I can't wait until the release the next batch.

I was actually looking to see if there were any Fairy Tail games and I just didn't notice them. It's a shame they're only out in Japan.

To give more information, Fairy Tail is a guild of wizards, who each specialize in a particular type of magic.
