Don't get the wrong idea now... Remember he wasn't one of the originals.... he just showed up one day, so I don't really consider him a comrade.

I don't believe a complete purge is necessary or a good idea. Is there a way to not allow new topics to be made in Random Chat, to possibly slow down posting? Perhaps have five topics in here (ex: how is your day, happy birthday, favorite music/tv show/movie, count to 1000000, other activities you enjoy) that have a broad enough topic to keep the topics still on topic and such. Or can someone limit the amount one can post in Random a day/not add it to post count?

"Internet Relay Chat" for the uninitiated. And there isn't, it's created by us "unofficially".

We called the channel "#NISA" at one point.

i refuse to vote. if i think about it look how random kinda brought us all together but then again all it is, is spamming.

It can be considered quite a dilemna. In one instance, it seems to have an unusual bonding effect, but on the other hand, it could possibly have the opposite effect (particularly on new members) and scare them away from posting.
