As long as I have a game I want in some form, digital or physical, I'm happy. As for selling old games, I did that in the past and regretted it so I keep them now unless I don't care for the game at all. Plus I'm sort of a collector too anyway. It's part of the fun.

Nintendo needs to pick up their game a little. I am interested in the 3DS Castlevania game and many of the main Nintendo franchises though.

Funny that you mentioned a 3rd party game in there...

I mention it because there aren't many other third party games on Nintendo system's I'm looking forward to.

Which kinda proves my point about Nintendo consoles/handhelds not having a huge selection of titles...the handhelds seem a bit too limited for an enjoyable RPG for instance...think the last DS RPG I enjoyed was Radiant Historia...and before that, Sands of Destruction...

DS has a huge selection of RPG's, but 3DS is still lacking on all categories really. I can still think of only around 10 games I'd be interested in owning and it's been how long since it was released? Close to a year I think.

Well I did say that they were the last ones that I personally enjoyed...I'm just picky I think, though at least I have a list of 10 or so DS RPGs that I enjoyed

Maybe it's just not to your tastes, but I think the 3DS has a fairly nice list of upcoming games. I'm most excited for Soul Hackers and SMTIV, personally. While it's too early for any kind of announcement about SMTIV, I'd love for Atlus to announce Soul Hackers for the west at E3. :D

We don't even have a Western release date on either of those games though :P

That's true, but there's no way Atlus is going to pass up publishing them here. It's rare for us to not get a MegaTen game these days. :P

In terms of games with a release date, Theatrhythm looks pretty great, I think. I love the music from the Final Fantasy games, so it's something I'm pretty excited about. Of course, I'm probably most excited for Virtue's Last Reward, since I loved 999 so much. Mind you, it's not an exclusive, but it's looking really great. :P

As for SMT on consoles, well... you'll probably see Persona 5 on consoles. Maybe some more MegaTen games will pop up after that. I wouldn't be surprised if SMTIV reuses some of the PS2 MegaTen assets, so I'm expecting it to be in Nocturne's style (which would be great!). I'd be a bit let down if it continued with the old school Strange Journey type gameplay.

@SuperNipah: There's quite a number of good games coming for 3DS over the next while. I was just talking about what's currently available in NA.

The games I plan on probably buying eventually that are already released:

Zelda OoT 3D
DoA: Dimensions
Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights
Kid Icarus: Uprising
MGS: Snake Eater 3D
RE: Revelations
Samurai Warriors: Chronicles
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked
Tales of the Abyss
Mario 3D Land

There's a good portion of games I'll be interested in getting going to be released this year though. :)

The market is no more moving there than I am Hitler, it's that companies are "Pushing it there". Not many people actually want it other than the game companies. Personally, I think any company that isn't willing to take a risk by also releasing a physical copy of a game is full of a bunch of pansies... this includes the whole PSP argument.

But that's just me.

Furthermore, from what I have gathered over the past year or so.
A good majority of people don't trust digital only as well, which stems from the fact hat we now have updates. As such, some people fear that they could be locked out of their purchased music because of an expired license, or because a developer feels a game is no longer relevant/worth supporting.

I mean just look what EA is doing with some of their iOS games! When they take them off the store, you can't play the copy you already purchased as they disable it, that's kind of-- oh I dunno. FREAKING ILLEGAL.

So who's to say a developer won't issue a kill code through an update, to disable the game once they fill it has been through it's life span?

I'm willing to bet that some greedy bastard will come up with that idea some time down the line, eventually it might even become common practice. Like licenses for computer software, or subscriptions to MMOs, anti-viruses, and premium online services. It's only a matter of time, y'know.

What would you do if you purchased the right to play a game through a cloud based service, streaming it to your console, but then it is removed from the service abruptly. In turn, disallowing you to play what you purchased? Personally, I'd be mad as hell.

So all that said, I'd rather have physical proof; not just a receipt, that I own my copy of a game.

I'd have to agree. Digital sucks, and infact, I believe it encourages piracy, which many consider to be bad. I won't say my opinion on such a topic as that is a completely different story from the point I'm trying to back up. Miz forgot to mention one thing. Sure there may be updates and stuff, but theres another way you can lose everything. A way quite a few people know all too well.

What if your system, or your computer breaks? Many companies won't allow you to download your digital download games or music again. How will that make you feel? It won't be good, I can tell you that. Atleast with a physical copy, you can play it even if you system breaks. You have a sort of insurance just in case something like that happens.

Digital Download sucks. Why the fuck does it even exist?

tl;dr: Fuck you, read it.

What good is it if they go 'Nocturne Style' but don't use console level assets for it? It's just pointless. Although, I JUST KNOW that with all of my bashing they're gonna pull something and I'm going to have to get a 3DS for it

Persona 5....I know nothing about. Considering how much I've been disappointed by game news from games I was excited for before, I really don't care about it until some info is finally released.

Not a bad list at all! :P If you ever go on the eShop after you get one, definitely check out Sakura Samurai; it's a great little download title. I'm pretty excited to see what new titles are unveiled for it at this E3. Though it's probably in vain at this point, I'm really hoping that the rumors of a Seaman remake on 3DS somehow turn out to be true. I love that fish.

Alright I'll take a look at Sakura Samurai. And I just bought a 3DS yesterday actually, but I don't have any games yet. xD Those will be the ones I'll be slowly buying though. Starting with Zelda~
