Actually, I don't think we even know if all the goddesses in V are going to use the same template, right? Because it's quite possible each goddess has its own template, in which case we can't even interchange the costumes between them (ouch).

Should you start preparing the first post to group the textures by game or will you just wait until the new templates are out?

Eh, I've got lots to be doing now that my exams are over and done with. Since the release is months away, I'll get around to fixing up the first post once I handle my more urgent priorities. Honestly, I'm a little worried about Part 3.. I don't wanna leave it behind, but I may have too if 16 more costumes doesn't like magically appear, as recording the video is quite the time taking task.

From my list, I have a total of 9 requests including the current 5 listed in my sig, and the formal dress that I postponed which makes it a total of 10 more costumes from me. That makes part 3 short of 6 more costumes to go.

If by the time I'm done with all 10, part 3 is still missing a few then I will see if I can fill it up.

As for the sneak peek on the new template, the template looks better in terms of the torso area, arms and legs but the accessories is a nightmare, all those separate bits and pieces is going to be hell to mod. At the end, they are just making the template to their convenience instead of taking user friendly into consideration. Also like what Sik said, it is possible that each goddess may have different templates because after all, their suits are different in various areas. So with that being said, Nepgear's may have a chance of staying the same if she exists in V.

Hello fellow Gamindustrimen. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
Well I've been kinda (kinda? more like extremely) inactive for a while. Who knew a student on break could be so busy during summer? Anyway, despite major delays, I finally got one of the color mods for a Dark Knight costume (for Nepgear, of course) done. I give you: Dark Knight: Black and Gold version.

Took most of the day and my arm is killing me, so I decided not to make it perfect, just to the point that most aren't noticeable once you have equipped it.

In case you're wondering, yes, I have tried it out in the game, and it actually looks kinda badass. Since I don't think I have anything going on tomorrow, I might do the second one.

Unfortunately, the costume template for V is quite different from the costume template for mk2; the torso and chest pieces are all one piece now. That means we won't be able to use the mk2 textures in V unless we tweak them.

Dang, that sucks. And if each goddess and possibly even the candidates have their own template, that's gonna be a nightmare.

Neither did I really. The reason I decided to try to modify other costumes to make new ones is because I reeeeeally wanted the anime version of Black Rock Shooter (I wanted blue clothes instead of black). After that, I wanted to see what else I could do. Sadly, I'm an amateur, no matter how you look at it, so I can't make frickin' awesome costumes like K-ey.

I just went back and read all the posts since I was last here and I noticed something cool:
YOU'RE MAKING A COSTUME FOR ASUNA! (FYI the name should probably be just 'Asuna' and not 'Yuuki Asuna,' since the costume is on the character Asuna, even if Yuuki Asuna is the person playing that character in SAO. Just saying.) She is my favorite female character in SAO. Also, I can provide a pic of her head and upper torso without a chest plate on. There's not much difference, it's the same clothes, just without the armor.
This kinda makes me want to request costumes of characters from the other SAO books, but I've already made another request - I think it was T-elos - so I won't.

Although, I just noticed I made a couple mistakes.....Well, after putting it on Nepgear, one of them I can't find and the other actually makes it look cooler, soooo...

In my opinion this one looks just as badass as the other one, if not more so. *Yawn* So sleepy. Well, I look forward to everyone's opinion on these.

Lol, I first came across SAO as a manga I then I found translated versions of vols 1-8 of the light novels. It is a really great series.

Anyway, that will really suck if we are only able to edit Nepgear's. Oh well, we'll find out eventually.
