Most likely not. The mk2 template could not, so I doubt the V template can. That is also why some of us are wondering if it is going to be one template for everyone, or a different, if similar, template for each character.

Thanks for the reply, that makes a lot of sense. What program do you use to edit the templates?

I present you Racing Miku 2011 Costume!
The hardest part of this costume is to get the translucent gradient to work and making the costume look all latex like. The "skirt" thing was shrunk down to make it fit on Nepgear and with that being shrunk, the barcode like design across the skirt was removed, it would look too messy even if included anyway, but I kept the sigil at the back.
Here they are:Spoiler:
Here are the NSFW versions:Spoiler:
Enjoy~

I have been using Gimp for the last few costumes. The Black Rock Shooter Anime version I used Paint (the image editing software that comes pre-installed on windows), which btw was hell.

No complaints here. Feel free to ask away.

Ok, this is getting extremely frustrating, so I'm going to stop tinkering with it tonight. Can you try to explain your method for making the costumes and maybe some of the tools you find to be the best to use? I figured out how to manipulate the layers pretty well, but I am having a very difficult time trying to edit them in any sort of decent fashion.
Some problems I am currently having:
1) Trying to put my own colors on a layer in a design I desire.
2) Trying to paint in a selected segment in a solid color; it fades in certain parts, I believe to match the proper dimensions and I am having trouble stopping it from doing that. It could also be a texture issue, though I tried to pick one that was solid.
The last thing I was trying to do was take the base 'shell' of clothing and just remove segments of that to make the designs I desire instead of trying to make a whole new custom layer. However even that was proving problematic, because I couldn't find a tool that I could make function as virtual shears to cut away the clothing in areas. On the plus side however, I read through some of the Help guide, learned a bit about the functionality, and have a better understanding now of -how- it is supposed to work; I'm just having a lot of trouble making it work.
