Yeah I never got that. I've never touched the novels, but followed the show just fine.

Shakugan No Shana's original material was light novels, but I couldn't imagine Shana without Rie's sweet sweet voice =w=

Ugh, right after I start praising Sentai Filmworks for their work they've only gone and let me down again. Why are the subtitles out of sync on episode 6? I noticed about the halfway point and was kinda annoyed. The slightly annoying translation error is back as well, it's only a minor gripe really, Elsie calls Keima "Kami nee sama" which I'm sure we know translates to "Divine brother", but she kept calling him "Divine one", episode 4 and 5 she did start saying "Divine brother" but after that it's gone back to "Divine one".

All in all I'm really enjoying watching it again, just wish a little more attention had been paid before they released it (For the subtitle sync problem I mean).

Sentai is VERY hit or miss...heck, in the Gintama movie, they kept changing how the characters names were pronounced...Gin-toki, and Gin-taki both appeared in their dubbing for instance

Recently watched .hack//Quantum, 3 episode OVA, it was pretty good.

AnoHana, my goodness I've only watched 3 episodes and I've already shed an odd tear twice. Needless to say, I think what I've seen so far has validated the limited edition I've purchased as worth it. Looking forward to watching it over the next few days.
