hmmm, i'm really iffy on this. On one hand, it's great that more anime will come, on the other as was mentioned, worried about how this will effect the 2010 release schedule for games. I guess this pretty much rules out some of the games that NIS released along with the atelier game on DS that was released last year.

I'm pretty sure they will release the anime either in boxset form or 2 part box set. Even funimation (i hate them btw) said that in north america, all ppl buy now is boxset/thinkpads now.

Oh, before everyone goes crazy, don't start request other anime series. Wait until AFTER they release their first series over here then we can make requests. Remember, they r a small company and don't have the resources to sub multiple animes. The mini text is what i think will happen btw.

P.S. just a feeling, i think the anime will be released sub only.

Seeing as how I'm a huge supporter of the anime industry (er, let's not discuss what my TB external hard drives are full of... doesn't rhyme with lansubs or anything...), I really hope I can get my hands into this and make sure they're of the best quality possible.

=)
Okay Detective Noire, whatever. We won't get anywhere with you leading this investigation.

This' really nice. Hope you guys'll be able to do this more often. Animes in need of dubbing (and getting officially subbed for OP/ED)

- Inazuma Eleven
- Eyeshield 21 etc...

I'm so sorry to say that none of these titles interest me.
Maybe Toradora 8-)

Wow, you NISA is on fire, I really hope they can afford to dub them, because of my dyslexia so I can't read very fast, and that takes away alot of the enjoyment of reading subs.

I will definitely buy Toradora! if it got a dub and I am interested in Wagaya no Oinarisama and Pandora Hearts.

But I don't want you guys to gamble, dubbing cost alot after all, so I will forgive you if you go sub only, but in that case I think I will just stick to your games. I think Toradora! got a big crowd of fans, so that might be the safest to dub, the others I don't know about, I just don't want to see NISA go out of business...

I don't see why you can't do both at the same time. It's great to see NISA expand into other media. I'll be eagerly waiting to see that sexy logo on a few boxes worth of anime soon. :D

OOOoooo

I really hope they dub them as well. I have really bad eyesight and even with my glasses on I have to sit pretty close to the tv to just read the subtitles. And after a while I start to get headaches from it :(, but thats only if I'm tired. But subs would be nice too.

I'm not sure why some people are thinking that they should only focus on games.I agree with odinfan and think they can do both.

Its really more of a business perspective that this originates. Basically, it boils down to the fact that you need to pay for a project before the project can return any money, and you don't always know how much money a project will return or exactly how fast. An outfit like NISA, which localizes non-mainstream games, wouldn't have a huge cash pool to start with so venturing outiside of its usual area of expertise can be considered a risky business decision because every move they make here must succeed. However, according to posts on these forums and recent memory, we as fans seem to be collectively optimistic.

At least the anime industry isn't as niche as their games, so they'll have a chance to show what they can do outside of their norm. At this point, I think they're one of the only companies that I know of getting into something like this(Xseed, Atlus, Ignition?, Nope), so I'm hoping for the best. :D

That does make sense and I can understand that, but I'm hoping and believe this can be a good move for them.

I' m not worried, I'm sure Nisa will Dub the shows...thats probably why they only bought 4, that way they have enough of a budget to Dub the shows, and not get hurt if ther anime pool isn't there thing.

I mean if they can dub Multiple JRPG's they can dub 4 diffrent 26 episode (give or take) anime series.

Anywho, I'm still really excited about this.,...and will deffinantly Pre-order Pandora Hearts,Persona & Toradora as soon as they put em up on RosenQueen! :D

but before I go, back on the subject of Dubs....I bet they'll use the same Talents they use in their games...wich is fine by me. :D

I have some reservations about this move, as expressed in General Chat. Toradora! is really good though. Anyone interested in romantic comedy mixed with a healthy helping of drama should check this out--it's one of the best in its genre.

It's currently my favorite anime, so I agree wholeheartedly <3
