Toradora cameos in recent shows

Durarara tends to show a lot of anime/manga references due to a certain pair of characters, but I was pretty surprised to see Toradora among them in the newest episode. Taiga, Ami, and Minori appeared in the form of figurines.

You'll also notice Holo and Shana in those particular shots. Not sure who the rest of the background figures are. There were several more references this episode, but they were less interesting because they were just series art on a poster or something.

Top row, left to right: Amamiya Shiina, Nogizaka Haruka (probably reading manga), Sakurazaka Hazuki, Nogizaka Haruka (again), Nogizaka Mika (all from Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu/Haruka Nogizaka's Secret, a great series that someone should consider licensing...), and, as a guess, Tenko Kugen from Wagaya no Oinari-sama/Our Home's Fox Deity (Wiki says NIS has licensed this series!).

I changed the topic title to reflect the fact that Ookami-san has had Toradora (and Railgun) cameos for the last two episodes. I guess this can be an all-purpose cameo topic now.

Pretty awesome. I wasn't expecting straight cameos after seeing those recolors.

Well, considering that Toaru Majutsu no Index/Railgun. Toradora!, and Okami-san are made by the same studio (J.C. Staff), it's no surprise that Okami-san will reference their previous works. But I'm still surprised that Toradora! made a cameo in Durarara!! (because DRRR!! is made by a different studio). Maybe they got permission to do so?

EDIT: I also personally watched Toaru Majutsu no Index, but not the spinoff.

It's a similar situation, though instead of being the same animation company, it's the same light novel publisher.

Toaru Majitsu no Railgun is great, really Maybe even better in some ways than Index.
Also the second season of Index airing now, and then will be second season for Railgun, so... show must go on )

Wow, even a Holo, Shana, Vehlhemina... great, great. I don't see Durarara!! yet. A week ago or so completed another title from Durarara director - Baccano. I suggest it to everyone )

I can't be certain, but I think this is one in the Railgun OVA:

It certainly has that telltale bump and the length and color are the same. Not only that, but Dengeki handles publication for both Index/Railgun and Toradora, and J.C. Staff animated all of those series, so I'm pretty sure it's a deliberate Taiga reference.

Well it's like it has Taiga's hair, plus the shape of the body, and size does also remind me of Taiga, but at the same time the thing she's holding in her hand is definitely not some palm sized Tiger.
