| Makai Kingdom is a strategy RPG. Invite your units on to the battlefield and begin fighting. Here we will discuss the battle basics. |

Makai Kingdo adopts the free roaming battle system of Phantom Brave. Unlike ordinary strategy RPGs, units in Makai Kingdom can move anywhere within its moving distance.

Vehicles are excellent piece of machinery to wipe your enemies out. You can hop in the vehicle by placing your character on it. You could also hop inside a facility, but you will have to get rid of the enemy inside first. |

During combat you have two attack options. One is regular attack and the other special skills. You have to get near the enemy to do a regular attack, but some special skills can do range attacks.

During battle the sacred tome will be on the field, but Zetta cannot move or attack. On top of that if Zetta gets hurt, every body else on your team will too, so be careful. |

Your characters ca equip multiple weapons and items. However, you can only attack with one of the equipped item.

|
Every battlefield has a score that you must fulfill to clear the stage. You must defeat enemy units and or destroy field objects to gain score points neccissary to beat the stage.
Now you might gain enough score to clear the stage even if you didn't defeat all the enemies. That is okay, you can simply end the stage or continue fighting if you wish to anhilate your opponent.
When you clear a stage you will recieve bonus points depending on the score points you gained during battle. This is called score bonus.

All your characters, items, vehicles, and objects have a resistant ability to special powers like fire, wind, and water.
The lower your resistance level to a certain power the more damage you will recieve from a skill related to it.
