Dungeon Strategy from “Nick”

“For those who are just starting out this would be a good set up and a good lesson on how to manipulate the Slime Moss to do what you want them to do. Take care of the first 2 heroes while you concentrate on the next duo.

Its a 13 page process but it makes sense and most of the time this is how it happens with me.

The first picture shows how the game starts…. It is pretty obvious that most dungeons will have to start out this way which is sort of unfair.

The second picture shows what you should build as a new comer. The Slime Moss don’t seem to know when to turn until they hit a wall. So making a few spirals around some quick corners helps the moss harvest into the correct direction. Make it reversible so they keep going through the same area. (When you have them concentrated in a certain corner you are able to make the hero slash in many directions while the moss keep jabbing him.)

The third picture shows a random area where the moss over powered the hero and won the fight. Usually he dies in the middle some where.

The fourth pictures shows what you should build next before the next hero comes in.

The fifth picture shows when the next two come in. (Usually the second hero gets killed by flowers…) The dungeon should look similar to this but it will not always have slime moss in the correct areas…

Pictures 6 through 13 shows what usually happens and what you should do to kill the heroes. (This doesn’t work every time but it is a good method of keeping the spirits in one area when they die.)

It is a good new comer strategy but it doesn’t last long…”

Dungeon Strategy from “Manikinator”

“This method has served me right to beat hard mode.

The slimemosses tend to create high nutrient-soil, so no more monsters missing when the hero strikes!!!

They die almost when they enter the dungeon, so use their bodies to kill melee heros.

Lastly, when they reach almost the end of the dungeon, before dying they scatter mana, so use that to make powerful monsters of mana, like dragons or bout pixies.

In the end, the long corridors make a narrow escape path for a tied badman, rest assured the hero won’t make it outside, specially the superduper u know hero(LV8).

THNX.”

Just Say No… to Labyrinths!

notolabs

This map illustrates an interesting strategy. Instead of a complex labyrinth of twists and turns, we opt for long, straight tunnels. Clearly, this perfect spiral is impossible to achieve in the actual game, but makes it easier to conceptualize this strategy.

This dungeon design, on average, forces heroes to walk the longest path to reach Badman. That helps you save valuable resources, which you can use later for leveling up. Just be sure to take your time; don’t make the dungeon too long, too fast, or you’ll end up wasting all the resources you’re trying to save!

As we’ve covered in previous strategies, Dragons and Liliths (Circled in green and pink, respectively) make the best choices for long corridors like these. Their attacks are exponentially more effective against those dastardly heroes in long narrow paths. Don’t forget that Dragons can only move horizontally, though.

That’s it for this one! A few of the toughest tutorials will be much easier using this strategy, so give it a shot next time you’re stuck. Good Luck and Ellohim Essaim!

Dungeon Strategy from “coolasj19”

Third Stage

1. As you may first notice the left side is WAY less developed than the right side. its important to really build the right side as when you hit stage 3 the magician will most likely go left into a less developed zone where just one or 2 good monsters attacking from more than 1 side can diminish her.

2. On the right side the Melee Hero will fall right into MANY Lizardmen-Ready Blocks. you should only activate these when they have a chance to surround him so he cannot attack 2 in 1 swipe. he will be destroyed quickly while the Enemy Mage is just getting to the end of your less-developed left tunnel.

3. While the Mage is working out of the tunnel do clean-up and draw out some slimemosses to start the cycle all over. The weakend Mage should be quickly demolished the second she meets a couple lizard.

4. Offset the entrances. if you dont the Melee Hero wont explore the left and right sides of the tunnel and will just move straight ahead. NOT GOOD.

Cave Maintenence

1. Keep your bugs in check. Even though this map system takes care of must bug problems you should always just kill over any excess.

2. Killing Monster = More Nuitrients. you should always Kill off any lizardmen you summon since you dont need that many. the nuitrients get redistribuited for the slime to use.

3. i only know this works for the first 3 stages. if anyone has any disagreements use the comments please.”
