You have just been transferred to Kurenai Academy in Tokyo. While being given a tour of the school by the class president, Sayuri Mifune, you are attacked by a ghost. With the help of Chizuru Fukari, the CEO of the Gate Keepers—a publishing company that specializes in the occult—and Masamune Shiga who recognizes your innate talent, you fight against the evil spirit.

Unlike typical adventure games that progress based on mere choices, you must react using your five senses. Test out a variety of combinations by touching, showing affection, or just being you.

If you're mindful of characters and situations, it will help you better interact with the world, and you just might unearth some unexpected discoveries.

Open

By inputting an emotion—love, friendship, anger, sadness, anxiety—and one of the senses—taste, smell, hearing, sight, touch—you will receive a certain reaction from other characters. For example, choosing [Friendship + Touch] may lead to a handshake or even a hug.

Not only do you decide your own actions, you also determine the behavior of those around you. Ultimately, control the protagonist as you see fit.

Choose your name, nickname, height, weight, birthday, blood type, hometown, favorite school subject, and even club. Mirror the protagonist after you, or have fun with it. Your strength in battle and affinity with other characters will be determined as the story progresses.

Ghost

The animation technique GHOST (Graphics Horizontal Object Streaming) is implemented in this game. It breathes life into each character, whether it be wind-blowing hair or the rise and fall of their chest while breathing. Ms. Kurahara's masterful background atmosphere and character movements are created without the use of 3D CG, making this a definite must-see. And you can always sift through the album at the Editorial Department to marvel at them again.

VR Technology

With the background supplemented with VR technology, the entire world feels like you are actually standing in it. You can see various life-like items, such as occult goods and machines, in the Editorial Department.

Battle Mode

Predict enemy movements to corner and defeat them!

Attack enemies in battle by controlling your allies' actions. However, the enemy will input commands too, allowing both enemies and allies to act simultaneously. Therefore, it's necessary to predict where the ghost will move. Corner enemies by utilizing Masamune's navigational support and traps.

If you attack a spot where there are no ghosts, you will break objects in the room and will be charged for repairs at the end of the exorcism, so be mindful of your surroundings. Proceed with upmost caution when battling in bars and offices since they contain more expensive objects.

If ghosts are within range when attacking, you will deal damage and exorcise them once their HP reaches 0. Since you can't see where ghosts are until they are detected, make sure to utilize detectors.

Keep in mind that Masamune will inform you of the enemy's general position. There are also enemies that won't move until you approach them, but by setting traps, you can guarantee they have nowhere to run.

Set traps to create barriers to prevent enemies from going where you least expect, decoys to force their movement, or even put them to sleep onsite.
