Contest Winners

1st Place, Entry 15: LordLaverii

This piece captures both the singing wolf and the journey the princess and the prince made, all in one lively picture. I thought it was a very fun illustration to view!
It’s beautifully drawn, just like a children’s book. It uses the same calm colors from The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince, which goes well with the hand-drawnlike strokes.

First Place - LordLaverii

2nd Place, Entry 1: Elizabeth K.

The expression of the brave princess trying to save the prince with open arms is fantastic! I wonder if the background and the wolf were inspired by the package art. This was really interesting, as it appears to be a different angle and take of the package art.

Second Place - Elizabeth K.

3rd Place, Entry 19: Carlina M.

The thought of communicating a message to the blind prince in Braille—I’m in complete shock! It’s wonderful! The Braille says, “I will always protect you, my prince.” I really like how the determination in the princess’s message is expressed to us by not being able to see her face.

Third Place - Carlina M.
