The Holy Feud is a struggle between the souls of angels and demons.

They interfere with the Mortal World in order to capture demons. Their existence is shrouded in mystery.

They usually stay in the underworld, but after discovering Heaven was trying to capture them, they began opposing Heaven by hiding inside layers in the Mortal World.
Shoggoth
It is an ancient, amoebic creature from outer space. It was created by the Elder Things, and possesses very little intelligence. It gives off an eerie glow, and has the ability to grow limbs freely. Although it may look cute, it is one of the few creatures that are feared by followers of the Old Ones. Its unfathomable potential makes it dangerous.
Deep Ones
Demons who serve the Old Ones.
They have a nasty stench and make a pattering sound when they walk.
They can crossbreed with almost any creature on Earth, but prefer humans. Their offspring look human, but when encountering another of their kind or becoming stressed, their faces morph into the "Innsmouth Look."
Old Ones
They are followers of the Great Old Ones, and come from parts unknown. They hop around and communicate through grunts and groans. They reproduce by crossbreeding with humans, and don't die from old age. They can only die from external factors. They usually live at the bottom of the sea.
Taira no Masakado
He came from a powerful family in the Heian period. People used to say, "None equal his valor in the Kanto region."
He proclaimed himself the new emperor, but was subdued after only two months. Legend has it that after being beheaded, night after night, his head continued to ask, "Where is my body?"
Medusa
A monster from Greek mythology, and one of the three sisters of Gorgon.
Her name means "Queen" or "Female Ruler." She incurred the wrath of Athena by saying her hair was more beautiful. Subsequently, her hair turned into snakes. Her eyes shine like gems and can turn those who meet her gaze into stone.
Hydra
A monster from Greek mythology who has a huge torso and 9 heads. Its heads grow back unless you cauterize the wounds after cutting them off. Not to be confused with Dagon's wife, Hydra.
Ouroboros
A snake god who controls "Death and Reproduction," and "Immortality."
Its name means "Snake Who Swallows Its Tail." It is said that Ouroboros takes after Jormungandr as its original form, and has high vitality. Because it is a snake, it's extremely ferocious and tries to swallow its prey whole.
Nankobo Tenkai
A Tendai Buddhist monk of the Azuchi-Momoyama and early Edo periods.
Said to have lived over 100 years, and influenced Imperial court and religious policies as a close adviser to Ieyasu Tokugawa. There are many mysteries about his life, and some say he was really Akechi Mitsuhide.
Yatagarasu
A three-legged crow who, in Japanese mythology, is said to have guided Emperor Jimmu.
Its name means "Large and Wide." It is sometimes connected to the Chinese King Wu legend, and is used as a symbol for sun worshipers. It is an entity that serves Susanoo no Mikoto at the Kumano Taisha Shrine.
Okada Izo
One of the Four Hitokiri of the Bakumatsu. He is also known as "Hitokiri Izo." He became a pupil of the Momoi Dojo while teaching himself sword techniques, but had no interest in academics or worldly affairs. Therefore, he wasn't able to become a full master.
Incubus
A type of demon whose name means "To Lie Down." They are able to enter the dreams of women. They assume the form of a bat to gain entry to their victim's room, and impregnate them with a demon baby. They have the ability to morph, but their real form is extremely ugly.
Nodens
An Elder God who opposes the Great Old Ones. He is the God of River Severn, and has blue hair and a white beard.
He rides a chariot made of a giant shell.
He uses Nightgaunts, and is sort of an ocean god.
Pandora
A woman from Greek mythology whose name means "All-Gift."
After Prometheus gave fire to mankind, Zeus was enraged, and created Pandora to curse mankind. Aphrodite adorned her with beauty, and Hermes gave her boldness and cunning. Her children brought about many disasters.
Baphomet
A demon from Christianity who presides over the Black Mass. He is one of the greatest demons. Although his name is said to be a pun of Muhammad in old French, there are many theories, making this claim uncertain. He is often depicted having a goat's head.
Pazuzu
"Demon King of the Wind," who appeared in Akkad and Mesopotamia. He has a lion's head and legs, a scorpion's tail, and 4 wings. He controls the wind, and those who are exposed to it will catch a fever and eventually die.
Echidna
Her name means "She-Viper." Echidna is a monster from Greek mythology who has the upper body of a beautiful woman, the lower body of a snake, and wings on her back. She was originally a goddess of the Scythians, but mated with Typhon and gave birth to many monsters, such as Orthrus and Kerberos.
Kiichihogen
A swordsman who appears in the Gikeiki. He is known for being an onmyoji and a martial artist, and it is said that Minamoto no Yoshitsune stole his military book to learn from it. Kiichihogen developed the Kenpachiryu, which is also known as the Kyohachiryu.
Will-o'-the-wisp
A ghost light often seen in swamps, marshes, and graveyards at night.
The name means "Will of the Torch," which comes from a legend about the spirit of a man named William roaming the world. They say he committed a sin in life, and therefore can't go to Heaven. It lures travelers into danger.
Kraken
A sea monster from Norse mythology.
It looks like an octopus or squid. It is said to be so enormous, that people mistake it for an island and try to go ashore. For sailors, the Kraken is the ultimate menace.
Succubus
A type of female demon who enters men's dreams to feed on their energy. They assume the form that the target desires most, making it difficult to deny their temptations. It is said that placing a plate of milk near your pillow before going to sleep will help repel it.
Ifrit
A fallen angel in Islam, and a malevolent deity who can control fire. It is ferocious and short-tempered. Because it is not very intelligent, it can easily be manipulated. Ifrits are similar to Jinns.
Wyvern
A creature said to have the head of a dragon, wings of a bat, claws of a hawk, and the tail of a snake. They symbolize war, jealousy, and plague. Wyverns were often used as sigils during battle to represent a strong sense of hostility toward the enemy.
Dwarf
Creatures from Norse mythology. They're short and stocky, and masters when it comes to making magical weapons and tools. Dwarves were once all maggots, but by the decision of the gods, they were given bodies and wisdom similar to humans.
Siegfried
In Old Norse, his name means "One Who Protects Victory." He is related to the War God, Odin. Siegfried became immortal after slaying an evil dragon and being exposed to its blood. However, a leaf landed on his back when that happened, making that spot his only weakness.
Quetzalcoatl
A god from Aztec mythology whose name means "Snake with Beautiful Wings." It controls wind, water, and Venus. It is said that when the world ends, Quetzalcoatl will travel to the world of the dead to battle against its ruler.
Susanoo
A god from Japanese mythology. Although he is famous for suppressing Yamata no Orochi, he is often seen throwing fits about wanting to see his mother, or being a complete idiot. He is extremely powerful, and is said to make the seas quake and the mountains crumble.
Yakshini
An attendee of Kubera, the Hindu God of Wealth. They protect mythical Himalayan treasures.
Yakshinis are often depicted as voluptuous women who have large breasts and curvy bodies. They are followers of the Vaisravana.
Cait Sith
A cat fairy from Irish and Norse mythology. It speaks the language of people, and has a very cultured personality. It is also referred to as the King of Cats, is highly intelligent, and is bilingual. The Big Ear variety are extremely ferocious.
Mulciber
The God of Fire and Metalworking in Greek mythology. He is the child of Zeus and Hera, and is also known as Hephaestus. He forged the Aegis and the very first woman, Pandora, in the palace of Olympus.
Jinn
The name means "To Hide" or "To Render Unable to see" in Arabic.
Though they are the shining example of "Supernatural Beings" in the Arab world, they are mortal, they eat, and they get married. There are good and evil ones, and just like humans, they can either be saved or go to Hell.
Mephistopheles
His name means "Not a Lover of Light" or "Light Hating." Known as an agent of Lucifer, he has a cold and mean personality. When summoned, he grants wishes in exchange for one's soul after death. The sickle he holds has the ability to sever people's lives.
Asura
Originally divine beings, they eventually became malevolent demons who compete against Devas. Though they are not immortal, they gain immense power by putting themselves through unimaginable penance. In Buddhism, they continue to challenge Sakra, and love to fight.
A. Crowley
A magician known as the "Wickedest Man in the World." He was born into a wealthy family in England. While in college, he joined a secret society and became an occultist. He then founded his own secret society, and successfully created new tarot cards and magic books.
Behemoth
Its name means "Beast Among Beasts." It was born on the 5th day of creation, and is destined to oppose the sea monster, Leviathan. Behemoth and Leviathan will fight one another during the rapture, and the one who is left will become the Chosen One's food.
Atlach-Nacha
The God of Spiders who was confined, along with Tsathoggua. Its body is ebony and has a very shrill voice.
Where and when it was born is unknown. It has a web either in or under N'kai, but its purpose is unknown.
Typhon
A god from Greek mythology, and Zeus's greatest enemy. He was created from Gaia's anger toward Zeus, and is considered the King of Many Monsters. Though he's said to be so huge he reaches outer space, in the end, he is tricked by a goddess and ends up underneath Mount Etna without his powers.
Dobiel
The form of an angel who used to protect Persia and Israel, but has fallen. After falling, it is said that she seduced Raguel and Uriel. She appears to be very cute, but still has the power she had when she was a guardian. Therefore, she is extremely good in battle.
Morrigan
One of the three Goddesses of Fate in Celtic mythology.
She brings "destruction" and "victory in battle." Her name means "Great Queen." Though she professed her love to Cu Chulainn, he rejected her. She was then injured while trying to get back at him, so he now helps her.
Lancelot
One of the Knights of the Round Table from the Arthurian romances. It is said that he was a very popular knight who was noble and just. However, his affair with Queen Guinevere turned his life upside down. After battling his best friend, Gawain, he took his own life.
Kushinadahime
Susanoo's wife, who appears in the Legend of Yamata no Orochi. She was saved by Susanoo just before she was going to be sacrificed. She is the Goddess of Good Harvests, whose name means "Wonderful Crops."
Seraphim
The highest rank in the Christian angelic hierarchy. They are the angels who symbolize love, light, and fire. They are very dignified and honorable, and are always engulfed in flames. It is also said that they roar like a lion.
Iris
The daughter of Thaumas and the Oceanid, Electra. She is a loyal subordinate of Hera. Iris is the Goddess of Rainbows. It is said that wherever she flies, a rainbow trails behind her.
She is one of the few gods in Greek mythology who has a gentle temperament.
Artemis
The younger sister of Apolon from Greek mythology. One of the 12 Gods of Olympus. She is the incarnation of the moon, and is good at hunting with a bow. Like her brother, when angered, she cannot be controlled.
Cherubim
An archangel who protects the east side of the Garden of Eden. He has a flaming sword and can move at great speed thanks to the wheels on his feet. Despite his great combat abilities, his name means "Knowledge" or "The Arbitrator."
Raguel
His name means "God's friend." He has the role of watching over the acts of angels, and when ordered by God, will blow the trumpet during the rapture.
He has a very police-like appearance, which suits his role.
Seiren
Half-human, half-bird entities that dwell in the ocean. They lure sailors with their song to sink their ships. They used to serve Persephone, but were taken by Hades, and as a consequence, turned into the form they are now.
Amaterasu
In the Kojiki, she is called Amaterasu Omikami. She is both the Sun God and a medium who was created by the God of Kuniumi. It is said that if she hides in the cave of Heaven, all light will be gone from the Mortal World.
Isaac
He appears in the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament. He is the son of Abraham and Sara. God named him Isaac, which means "he smiles."
He attempted to sacrifice himself to the flames. He left the world at 180 years old to go to Heaven.
Bastet
An Egyptian Goddess who has the eyes of the sun that watch over the world. She is the daughter of Ra. She has the head of a cat, which was a sacred animal, and is the Goddess of Fertility and Proliferation. She is also the protector of the pharaoh, and protects people from illness and evil spirits.
Ophaniel
Also known as Ophan, he is one of the Angels of the Thrones, who follow Exousiai's orders. He is the leader of the Ophanim, who were named after him. He rules the moon, and therefore, is called the "Angel of the Moon."
